Do you carry Public Liability insurance?
Yes, Leicester Castle Hire carries £5 million pounds in Public Liability insurance
What time do you deliver and collect the castles?
Delivery and collection times are flexible, although on a typical days hire delivery is made from 8am-12pm and collections are made from 5:30pm onwards. Later collections between 8pm and the following morning as a £20 premium. If your party is booked in a hall we can drop off and collect at the times you require.
What do I need to do on the day?
We will need clear access to the place you would like the bouncy castle or other inflatable situated. The inflatable will be wheeled to the location on a trolley. Please tell us at the time of the booking if there is any steps to the location where you would like the castle.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You can cancel at anytime, all we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible to save unnecessary loading etc. We will give you a courtesy call the night before the booking to make sure everything is still ok. There is no cancellation fee unless you cancel on the door there is a £20 fee.
What happens if it rains?
We at Leicester Castle Hire have a unique rain policy in that if your brave enough to have it then we're brave enough to deliver it as who are we to cancel your party! However it is advised that castles are switched off in adverse & wet conditions due to safety reasons.
Most of our inflatables are fitted with a rain cover, however this cannot guarantee 100% rain protection due to the nature of the inflatables, when an inflatable bounces around the roof is bound to move around and rain will leak slighlty in.
When is payment due and which methods do you accept?
Payment is required upon deliver of the unit by cash, if you wish to pay by cheque which we are happy to receive then we do ask for the cheque 7 days before your hire due to clearance before we can let the unit out.
Can you set up on concrete/gravel/decking?
We can set up our castles/activity inflatables and bounce and slide and any other hire items on hard standing but we must be advised of this at the time of booking to ensure we bring the correct anchorage.
How long does it take to set up and take down the castle?
The average bouncy castle takes about 15 minutes to set up and about 20 minutes to take down. This is only an estimate, times may vary slightly depending on the inflatable you hire.
Can you deliver with no side entrance and take castles through the house?
Most of our items can fit through standard doors so this shouldn't be a problem, however some of our inflatables are huge and will require a proper entrance so please advise us of your access type at the time of booking to avoid disappointment on the day.
Bouncy castles are often bigger and heavier than most people expect and use large sack trucks to move them. Unfortunately if it should rain, water will get inside the inflatable and this tends to drain out whilst being removed........sometimes on your carpet so please bear this in mind as we cannot be responsible for any damages should they occur due to the castle being wet or general damage from the castle being taken through your house, always check with us on booking that the inflatable you have chosen will fit through a doorway. Accidents do happen and we can not be held responsible for this when we are expected to take outdoor equipment through someones home.
